Can I use Kwudo in my country?
You can sell from Germany, France, Spain, Italy, the Netherlands, Ireland, the UK, the US, Canada and Australia.
Do I need a Stripe account?
No. When you set up payments, Kwudo creates a Stripe account for you. You add your details and your bank account without leaving Kwudo. Customers pay through Stripe, and Stripe pays the money out to your bank on its usual schedule. Kwudo never holds your money.
What happens after the Basic trial?
Basic is free for 30 days. You add a card when you start, but you aren't charged for Basic during those 30 days. After that it's €24.99 a month. Cancel before the 30 days are up and you pay nothing for Basic: your store switches to the Free plan (€0 a month, 9% per sale) when the trial ends.
Can I use it without a website?
Yes. Your storefront lives at kwudo.com/yourname. Share it in your bio, a message or your email signature.
What about cancellations and refunds?
Bookings: For each service, you choose how far ahead customers must cancel to get an automatic refund, how far ahead they can move their booking, and how many moves are free. Customers can still cancel later, but without an automatic refund. Deposits normally aren't refunded when a customer cancels. This doesn't affect any legal right they have to withdraw. If you cancel, the customer gets all their money back.
Downloads: You can refund a download from its order.
What files can I sell?
Documents (PDF, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, CSV), ebooks (EPUB), ZIP files, video (MP4), audio (MP3) and images (PNG, JPEG). Each file can be up to 1 GB.
What can't I sell yet?
Subscriptions, newsletters and courses. Right now Kwudo is for booking services and selling downloads.
